Autodesk 3D Studio Max is a program for creating 3D graphics and animation developed by Autodesk Media & Entertainment (formerly known as Discreet and Kinetix). It was developed as a successor to Win32 operating systems of 3D Studio created for DOS. Kinetix was later merged with the latest acquisition of Autodesk, Discreet Logic.

3ds Max is one of the most widely used 3D animation.
